6 slices of jalepeno in one bowl of chili is too much…for me.

I can’t stop though.

I have a problem.

Hi, my name is Jeff. I’m a jalopenolic.

“Hi Jeff.”

Thanks for having me. I can’t really remember when it all started. I just know that I was in denial. I knew what I was doing was bad for me, but I couldn’t stop. Nothing else mattered in my life…
hey, is that salsa? can I have some?

“Jeff, maybe you’re not ready for this”

Maybe not. See ya.

coming soon…

The Oscar’s really are coming up here at the Hudson house. It looks to be a strong performance by the newcomer. The awards haven’t quite started yet, and there are no Oscars tonight, just football. So while we wait for the main attraction, we will watch a little super bowl shuffle. I’ll put it in writing before the game starts. Pittsburgh is going to stomp Seattle. It could be a good game, a close game, but the Steelers have too many playmakers, especially on defense. And you know what they say about defense.

Chili on the stove and Cleo’s got a bone, so we’re all set. If you missed the pre-game, you missed a great performance by Stevie Wonder and gang. Talk about art. The definition of fine art, to me, is work that holds up over time, over years and years. Whether it’s movies, music, paintings, books, the only real test is something that you can pick up years later and still find new wrinkles, be amazed by, hear in a different way. Well, he just played about 6 songs from 35 years ago, and you wouldn’t know they were that old. They could have been brand new. They were better than 99.999% of anything you hear from today’s artists. I’m glad the record companies are struggling. They’ve completely stifled creativity. Maybe we’ll start to hear original works of art start to be created again, like they were in motown 40 years ago.
